I had a HU7000 that failed at 2.5 years (out of warranty) and they agreed to give me R12,000 credit on a new TV
I had a Q7F that failed after 1.5 years (in warranty) and although it was a fight, they gave a Q70R as a replacement

It's only been 2 years , but going strong.

I am concerned that 2 of 3 failed though

I got a 2 year warranty with the Samsung I bought at Macro.
If you pay with a credit card you may have gotten an extended warranty with Visa.
