Smooth ridin Polo

I guess you feel really unique and distinctly individual in your VW.
Don't stop taking those pills by the way...

How many Kadett E or Monzas do you still see on the road? Compare that to the amount of Golf/Jetta Mk2 etc.

German cars FTL. How many Hondas do you see broken down at the side of the road? :p

Not a lot, but I can't recall a VW or Opel spontaneously catching fire and killing the 2 y/o occupant :(

On a lighter note: 80% of all Opels are still on the road today. The rest made it home :D

I like any car that is non VAG and not French. My sister drove a Jazz for about 2 years and it was an awesome little car. After it was written off (not by me) she got the Hyundai i10 HS and while it is not quite there yet in terms of Japanese build quality (actually its made in India) it is closing the gap and is a solid little car. I think my next car might also be Korean - maybe even wearing a bowtie.

I see plenty broken Opels around Stellenbosch, when I see one (or two) I always think of you! I should start taking pictures but my time is running out, they only sold seven Astras last month :p
And 160k is hardly an epic mileage.

Your time is running out? How long have you got left?

If they sell the last few Astras in the next month or two, then I have about three or four years left. After that most of them will be recycled back into Coke cans :p

There's something fishy about that Honda window motor story. The fuse on the window motor circuit should have blown before anything got hot enough to catch alight

Man how can you say VW's are lame!?!? The only reason there are so many on the road is because they are RELIABLE, they hold their resale value, and they look awesome!

Come on it's such a stupid thing to try and put down VW when deep down inside you know that they are brilliant!
