Ok so i find out that u can get those dynamic link modems working in linux by using the following.. Make sure your kernel is 2.6.10 or above.
Then you need the Eci ADSL drivers from
http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/index.php
Set the modem up with Eci (read the docs, it's pretty straightforward)...
Next, get RP-PPoE from
http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/
and install that.
But the thing is, will i be able to get smoothwall working by telling it that is my driver?
