Is there a solution to having to change your smtp between:
1. Office - Telkom Mobile
2. Home - Telkom ADSL
3. Roaming - Wi-fi
4. Vodacom

Is there maybe a generic SMTP or settings that can be used that will allow me to send emails from any of the above without going to change SMTP?

I'm using Outlook 2010..
ISP - Telkom

Thank you

Who is your Email Provider?

They usually have a SMTP server.

Peder hi
Telkom (SAIX)
But I have to change SMTP settings when I use vodacom, adsl or at wi-fi- spots.

so you have a @telkomsa.net email address?

Just to check.

I know the "free" Mail Clients you can add multiple servers but i see you can't do it in outlook 2010, will look now what other option you have.

This is just a shot in the dark, i can't test it on my side because i don't have a telkom account.

Goto where you would change the server addresses --> advanced -->outgoing server --> select "My outgoing server requires authentication"

and try it on the Vodacom 3G with the telkomsa.net server

smtp.uls.co.za

Works on all ISP accounts I've tried thus far

Peder and Nimz ..

I've tried and tested smtp.uls.co.za

works just fine ! :)

Thanx guys

Nimz. Thanx Stax.

I've been changing smtp outgoing settings three times a day!

Tried googling a fix but no help.

Your fix works so far on mtn, afrihost, cellc and telkom.

Great!!!

Does not work if you are in the unlucky position to have Voxtelescum as your ISP! :(
Anyone with an alternative that can be used?
The ONLY option seems to switch ISP so that SAIX.NET can be used again - better the devil you know...
VoX suck major league with absolutely ZERO support! :(
