Snoring - how to stop

Blood oxygen should not really go below 95%.

Dunno about those sensors' accuracy though.
indeed, won't put my faith 100% into the watch. But I started to monitor so that I can have base mark to work from when I do get the mouthpiece to compare to with.

But I must say I have calibrated and compared the blood measure vs my blood pressure machine and most of the time it is about 99.8% similar.

Yep, 100%. Mates who I've bunked with for over 14 years now have said "but you never snored like this before". It becomes an issue.
exactly this! Last time we went on holiday with some friends we got a 3-bedroom hotel apartment. I got a room all to myself with 2 large beds cause one of the guys was "nope, i cannot sleep its like a plane taking off" and he crashed on the couch in the lounge lol.
I did feel bad. I need to sleep quieter :)

You can try medical tape on your mouth (forces you to breath through your nose). Its pretty safe since you will wake up if you can't breath.

It will train you to breath through your nose. Just started doing it myself.

Yeah, I use it on the family in the garden shed. Don't hear them snore either.

It can also helps stop teeth grinding, which is apparently a response to narrowed throat passage air ways when breathe through your mouth

There’s been a few studies to confirm it, it doesn’t work for everyone but if I recall correctly it helps in 80% of people that grind their teeth.

These have preserved my sleep, sanity and marital bed.

Won't they hurt your ears when they dig in? Unless you sleep on your back which makes snoring worse.

There's an app called snorelab (android's free version good enough). It's excellent for recording and tracking your snoring. I went from some epic episodes to almost no more snoring depending on how I sleep. But the reduction was due to increasing exercise.

My wife is the one who snores - genetic - her dad and both siblings snore.

The V2s fit comfortably in my ears - with a softish pillow, it's no problem lying on my side.

I considered trying earplugs, but then had a thought about not hearing a burglar and changed my mind. (though our immediate surrounds have had like 3 or 4 break-ins in the last 5-6 years).
