So my company decided it was time to splurge and get some mac book pro 17"
i am sooooo excited. BUT as this is the first time working on a mac what you recommend is the best way to start off. Are there any good mac resource sites that you can recommend?

I am a happy camper...

:-)

macs are intuitive, simply "guess" what you want the macbook to do, click randomly and you will find it

To be honest. If you want to know anything google it.

I googled Screenshot on a mac and got the exact answer. Googled see computer info and it showed me how to get into system profiler. I googled MSN for Mac and it took me to a sight for MSN:Mac and the better Andriod! Google is your friend!

Thanks sooo much for all the info.
I got the BEAST last night and had loads of fun playing around with it. Still got loads to learn.

you should really use Adium instead of MSN:Mac

Yea, Adium rocks!! Also has support for Gtalk and other protocols.

gumpie, try get used to spotlight i think its the best way to search for stuff and launch apps. Shortcut is cmd+space (its the little magnifying glass in the top right)
