it sure is mental imho. i reckon very few people have an actual physical problem. sometimes things are over pretty quickly, and other times Im more of a "man on fire" and things last much longer. For me, usually has to do with the time of day and the amount of foreplay.

Gay guys can still have sex with women. I did it a lot before I came out as gay. I'd probably still be able to have sex with a woman, I'd just prefer not to and I won't enjoy it much.

I'm a bottom, though, so that might also factor into it.

I don't think it's always mental, but it is in a lot of cases. If you spend a lot of time worrying about it, chances are you're going to blow your load very quickly. The key to good sex is to relax.

as i said, i think people evolve psychologically and sexually. you may lean a certain way but you're never definitely 100% a certain way. i'm also open to the experience of sex around guys now, which i never though i would be, and as of recently i think i'd even be able to be in a relationship with a guy if the circumstances were different. just because you can be satisfied sexually by one gender and spend your time googling the opposite gender does not mean you can't have meaningful and incredible sex.

orientation is more how you define yourself. if i have sex with a guy but spend all my time checking out women and looking at porn of women, it doesn't mean i'm gay or even bisexual because of that one encounter. if i spend my time searching for men and identify as gay, well then i'm gay. you and ant_man have a unique situation and you both love each other, but we do not know you well enough to make judgments or assumptions about your relationship. i feel tho that you guys can still have a meaningful relationship and the best sex you can get if you guys didn't feel pressure. everyone is different tho
