So is anyone switching to Windows 7 from Linux?

Nope.. 8 days to go for ubuntu Jaunty has got me all excited enough, 7 will only be used for games.

I ran 7 for 2 weeks and...

...it's still Windows.
 
Ye, im also itching for Jaunty. For me its more of a principle. Make no mistake, m$ makes some very good software. I just like Linux more. Everything about it just clicks into place.
 
Both are really awesome (Jaunty, Win 7). Been running jaunty since first beta, also running Win 7 beta (build 7000).

Jaunty has come a long way, and works really well. It has changed enough to make me run Linux full time again (and I have been using Linux for 10+ years now). But only time will tell :D I'm also looking forward to Win 7 RC1, as beta had some stability issues for me. I have space for both on my laptop.

When it's released try kubuntu(for the eye candy) jaunty and see for yourself... not sure what your experience was like.
 
Well i loaded ubuntu messed around a bit, but yea not my thing mostly because of the programs i use, just like to see new stuff more than anything else :). Will check out the eye candy they have introduced cause it is nice to watch an OS develop regardless if it i will ever make use of it. Would also love to try the mac os, pity it does not run well on intel hardware which is stupid considering that is why they use now :p, atleast i managed to install the mac os even if it took me 12gb of download and like 8 hours of trying haha.

Yeah, that's cool always nice to try things out.
 
Well I currently have a dual boot with Kubuntu Hardy and Win7. I've booted into Win7 a lot lately to test it out. I must say i'm quite impressed. I'm still counting down the days till Jaunty gets released though, I won't ever again have Windows as my primary OS.
