2 months ago (Beginning Feb) I requested a line installed on a Saturday - soonest date they gave me was April (7th due to the request for weekend work) phone them now -Sorry we refuse to work on a Saturday and apparently no one had ever booking this for a Saturday (never mind that I have an order number)

Spoke to supervisor - he says there's nothing he can do- what is my next step? Give up and take a day off work? Im so pissed right now

Telkom likes to tell lies to their customers.
They came out to my house, this past Saturday the 17th of March to try and repair my ailing landline. There was a technician at my house at exactly 10:29

Telkom lies about Saturday work, they also lie about the fact that they tried to deploy 10MBit ADSL and totally COCKED it up, and in some cases reverted back to the older equipment. I am sitting with an ADSL line (soon to be cancelled) that is so misconfigured that I have to plug in a specific router to get any joy out of it. Now that I have another line its just so easy to compare.

I know they are lying, they have installed lines for me over weekends twice before. But to refuse service after waiting 2 months is just to much to take - I swear I am going to go to every outlet I can find until this is sorted - opinions on where to begin would be appreciated.

Telkom is such an amazing company you can read all about my most recent experience with them on my "Telkom repair time rant". I posted all information that I received from them there and what actually happened.
