Dear agentrfr

Thank you for pre-ordering Titanfall on Origin. However, after conducting recent online tests for Titanfall, it was found that the performance rates in South Africa are not as high as needed to guarantee a great experience, so the Titanfall team has decided not to release Titanfall there at this time. We have cancelled your pre-order and you will not be charged. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Titanfall’s online performance will continue to be monitored closely. If anything changes regarding Titanfall’s release in South Africa, we will let you know.

Is this serious?
I was about to preorder it for my son.
He's going to be bummed, I am as well tbh.

Don't think so - why would you want to buy it? For the Single player campaign? You might pay R500 for a 7 hour game. Remember that it is an old COD fraternity writing this. They aren't big on SP campaigns.

I wonder if this is the reason behind them not releasing the Xbox One locally?

Yes, but you cannot blame MS, SA currently is not a viable deployment region due to certain limitation which can be discussed in-depth. There are places elsewhere on this continent though, actually two other places.

Why can't we blame MS if other service providers are managing?

Wtf just checked and my pre order was cancelled as well. Going to take this further, although I doubt I'll get far. It's not their ****ing problem if my experience is not up to their "standards" .

IS even offered to host the servers. Seriously what the actual ****. Way to ruin my morning.

Just another sign that SA is falling further and further into the dolldrums...

When did they make this known?

They would be liable to obtain the service levels, entailing content delivery.

We (ISGaming) has hardware and have access to core internet connectivity. We have signed with EA before and are prepared to do it again. We really should have this game available in S.A. Even if it is just available on PC.
