So where do you work and stay.

I live in Centurion, 4.5 kms away from where I work. About 10-15 minute drive. One reason I might never buy a house one day is because of the prospect of staying very far from work. If I buy a house in Centurion and then get offered a job in Joburg, I'd prefer moving closer to work than travelling long distances. It's easier to rent than to buy a house in that sense.

Work in Paarl, live in Paarl (unfortunately)...had to move for the job...

i also used to work at techno park in centurion and stayed by the mall

so used to save me big time on traffic and petrol

now its train to work in cpt

I'd love to work in either DBN or CPT... JHB sucks. I don't know how so many of you just up and leave though... Do you find work before you go or what?

lived in Obs and worked in CBD (10 minute commute to work) up until a year ago... then i was living in sandton and working in pretoria east (1 hour commute)... now I live in Hatfield and work in Pretoria east (Brooklyn) (5-10 minute commute again :))

I left CPT because it was almost impossible to find work.(especially if you wanted to get paid more than peanuts) Managed to find work in Pretoria via a family connection... hence I am now in Gauteng.

Lived in Pta and worked in Pta.

Then moved to Durbanville for work in Epping.

I want to go back to Pretoria :(

Live Alberton, Work Braamfontein. 40 minute odd commute via bus.
