Softcap question?

Hey ppl:) Ok so I am on a 2 Gig 512Kbps connection and at the end of the month I usually have get about 1Gig softcap (so I have downloaded 3Gig in total for the month). This month I saw that I was not going to make it, so I purchased an extra 2 Gig of cap.

Will I still get Softcap or will I get capped at 4 Gig? I am at 2.7 Gig BTW...

Think you will be capped at 4Gb. I've only once topped up via Telkom ISP. And I lost 500Mb of my soft cap.

Take note that as of 1 August there will be no more soft capping. 2Gb account will be hard capped at 3Gb and 3Gb accounts at 5Gb.
 
Yes I am with Hellkom:D.

First of all it will suck if I get capped at 4 Gig. Secondly, why is softcapping going down the drain????????:mad: Then I can just as well go to Neotell or Mweb or some other cr@ppy ISP! Telkom, if this is true, I hate you even more... O forgot, can't hate them any more than I do now!:mad:
 
Yes it is true. Telkom announced last month that they are upgrading their caps:
1Gb stays 1Gb
2Gb up to 3Gb
3Gb up to 5Gb

but they are stopping soft capping. Will see if I can find the links for you.
