Software thwarts mobile phone chatting

Why would you want to prevent teenagers from phoning or texting while driving? They shouldn't be driving in the first place?

so in places like the states where kids get their licenses at 16?... thats 2 years before they're adult...

I'd def use a piece of software like this if i Had a kid driving.. Hell I'd even prob use it myself since I'm occasionally guilty of using my phone whilst driving

Noone has commented on the false positive aspect of this.

What about if you are on the bus, or just a passenger in a car?

According to the Oxford dictionary, a 'teenager' is a 'person aged between 13 and 19 years.' So even in good ol' SA, a teenager may drive legally for 2 years.

And if you take the UN definition of an Adult and the one the Malema subscribes to.. you're only an adult at around 34 i think it is... :p

ppl must be allowed 2 decide 4 themselves. why should adults be allowed 2 drive & chat?

Until they give some tech details, might as well tag this one with snakeoil.

I echo Ipvoid's sentiments...wat if you're a passenger? Does the software differentiate between a driver and a passenger?
