Solution to keep gaming during loadshedding

Yeah my batts also spark when I connect them the first time. I've tried different configurations, negative first, positive first, it always sparks. I found best is just to do it quickly and correct the first time
This :)

So I tested this, was kinda nervous.

Got prepped for load shedding, turned everything off even the bbone.

Power goes out. Plug everything out.

Turn on bbone, plug pc in, screen in. It boots. Huzzah, power, even though there's no power. Then plug in internet router.

Nothing explodes. Makes a slight buzzing sound.

Power draw 25%

Boot up ffxiv and start playing. No overlocks on gpu.

Power draw 50%

Plaued for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Battery at 75%

Then had to leave home.

Pleasantly surprised

My fan also draws 35w so I might plug that in, but so far all seems good.

This thing is so heavy though.
Even with wheels it's like, heavy n stuff.

So if the power comes back on, and im playing, my pc will lose power for like half a second. Which is enough to make it restart or turn off.

But if the power goes out while I'm playing its fine.

I guess it's not that bad

Yeah mine is fine, just led lights switches on and off
Dang. Wonder what's up.

I was playing and it was loadshedding. Then power came back on and pc turned off.

I'm not sure why.

I have my bbone plugged directly into the wall, then from the bbone a multi plug with my pc, router and screen connected

Ok, I found the issue.

I pulled out the plug under load, and put it back in.

Switched it off at the wall, vice versa.

Power in, power out.

No issues.

So what I think happened is, I am gaming on the bbone, then power comes back on from eskom, then immediately dies again, then comes back again.

So I theorize the power went out as inverter was trying to switch to mains.

Either way cant recreate it

My wifes PC restarts if the power goes off and connected to my inverter, my PC / Server/ whole office carries on as if nothing happened.

So I assume it is PSU related.
