Hi,
I had a paper jam where the paper got stuck around the fuser unit. I removed the fuser, cleaned it and put it back but now I keep getting an open door error. A small latch-type thing came loose in the process and now I can't get it back in its original place. I suspect this is what's keeping the door "open".
Is there a way I can bypass whatever sensor is keeping the door from "closing" ? Or can anybody with a similar printer take a picture of the rear door so I can see where this part should go? Playing Tetris with it doesn't work.
Thanks.
EDIT: Some kind soul in England sent me pictures.
