Some technical help and info please

I get a 8ta signal in my area and would like to purchase the 60GB special. A few questions if possible:

1. Should I get a 21Mbps modem or is the basic 7.2 sufficient for my area?

2. How do I find out where my closest tower or strongest signal is for my area (Bloubosrand/Northriding)?

3. Is it worth getting an external area like Poynting? How can I test if it is pointing in the right direction?

Your advices and any other helpful tips from those in the know would be appreciated

Prepaid 8ta 99c SIM. Borrow the modem and you will know all you want. MDMA, signal strenght, post here, you get sugestion to ext. antenna.
