Some tips would be nice for reducing body fat

It isn't the fat that causes the FAT it is carbohydrates especially sugar. Cut the carbs and the fat disappears.

FAT causes FAT,

Excess Carbohydrates convert into ......wait for it....... fat cells.

So if you still consume fat you are are not waiting for the carbohydrates to convert you are just putting FAT straight into your body.

He is trying to lose the FAT in his body so why the hell would he put FAT into his body (whether it be in the form of carbohydrates or fat)?

Well I will go with Tim Noakes and against the Medical Profession (Big Food) over the past 50 years thank you.

There is more than enough evidence that the Banting lifestyle diet WORKS.

Do a Google search for "does fat produce fat?" and look at the evidence, and it is growing. Sugar is the enemy.

Go the scientific route:

Go for a VO2 MAX with a Biokineticist:
They'll determine what your fitness and fat burning zones are.

EG: Fitness - 150 - 180 BPM
Fat burn 130 - 149 BPM

Then get yourself a heart rate monitor that you can set different heart rate zones based on the above.

On days that you wanna burn fat, set it for that zone and stick within those rates for 45 mins, do the same if you wanna increase fitness in the relevant zone.

If you're already eating correctly, you'll see massive results with the above.

there is a difference between losing weight and specifically dropping body fat.

Banting works for losing weight because our current lifestyle has us eating excessive fat AND excessive carbohydates cut out one of them and you are bound to lose weight. I have nothing specifically against banting but if a guy wants to lose body fat you don't advise him to do a diet that wants you to eat fats.

+1 for the banting diet

Weight training will also help because muscle burns fat. Once you have a significant amount of muscle your body will naturally burn more fat even while at rest.

I find the more Cardio I do the hungrier I become and you have to run a long way to burn a significant amount of calories so I don't do it for weight loss in particular. I do love running though and I do it for the endorphins, healthy heart and increased energy.

It seems logical to think that eating a high-fat diet would tip the scale upward, but a new study suggests that might not be the case. What's more, eating more of certain types of fats may help move the scale in the other direction.

You’d think that by now everyone must understand that fat doesn’t make you fat. Even the Harvard School of Public Health titles their page on fats with “It’s Time to End the Low-Fat Myth.” But apparently this is one piece of misinformation that just won’t die; it simply gets resurrected in a slightly different form and billed as something new.

Google "Eating Fat Storing Fat" and read!

did that but nowhere does it point to that eating fat is different to storage of fat.

most of the pages are based on the Banting and Paleo diets where " eating fats do not make you fat" scenario

so once again please enlighten me on the technical aspect of why fat consumed is different to fat stored in the body.

as far as I am aware all fat, whether from animal fat, vegetable fats or fat stored in humans is adipose tissue, which means that no matter if you consume it from a dead animal or plant or it is stored in your fat cells in your body, it is the same thing.

Instead of telling me to "google it", educate me with since you obviously know the answer, if you are saying I am wrong.

again both those articles are "fat doesn't make you fat". I want to know, how eaten fat and the body stored fat is different, as was mentioned to me.

Start here. https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/wiki/keto_in_a_nutshell

In ketosis, as long as you eat less than your daily caloric expenditure, consumed fat is converted to ketones which fuel your body. Although Banting is not specifically associated with entering ketosis, the idea is the same. Use fat for satiety, and end up eating fewer calories.

I wasn't responding to that " eaten fat and the body stored fat is different" though.

I was responding to your claim that FAT causes FAT, and "He is trying to lose the FAT in his body so why the hell would he put FAT into his body (whether it be in the form of carbohydrates or fat)?"

again..... the comment made to me was that "eaten fat and stored fat is different, common misconception".

I want to know the difference between the two

At the risk of oversimplifying your question:

Eaten fat is what goes into your mouth. It doesn't necessarily end up stored anywhere on your body. Stored fat is what's on your body. It may have entered your mouth as carbs, and been converted to fat.

If you think you can't get fat on a carbs only diet, drink 6 litres of coke a day and then report back.

And a personal anecdote: I eat 100g of fat a day (more than half my calories) and have pretty low body fat.

HIIT. - high intensity interval training.

I lost 1% a week just by replacing my normal mass building workout with that. Also finish off your shower in the morning with a 1-2 min blast of cold water and eat more chilli - brown fat activation - go read up on it as not many know about this trick.
