How many people here are looking to buy a 50mm f/1.8 right now (Nikon or Canon)?

Yip, but the 70-200mm f4 L is first on my list. Then the 50mm f1.8 and the 100mm f2.8 macro.
I'd get the 50mm first, considering the price - you'd probably be able to use it alot before saving up for the others?
How much does the 100mm f2.8 go for? I'm also wanting to get a macro at some stage.
I'm pretty sure I got the 50mm before the 70-200mm and probably for that very reason.

Yeah but they don't have stock, that's why I'm getting the 70-200mm first.
The macro is R5695 at orms, which is cheaper than SAcam.
I can never find these things on Orms site. Go figure.

Anyone know if you can do noise reduction in Lightroom? Can't seem to find it.
Also, in DPP when I do Noise Reduction, save the file, and open it again, the noise is back... damn annoying... this meant to happen?

Why are your shots noisy? Try not going above ISO1600 maybe?

Try saving the file as something else (jpeg or tiff). I'll have a quick check what DPP does with the saved RAW file and let you know.
