Son got perma banned

The license is for a particular rockstar account. So if he wanted to play his own character without using mine, he would have to buy his own copy. Likewise if he want's to play the game after being banned, he would have to buy a new copy of the game, and probably create a new rockstar account.

You didn’t buy the game with the account did you? You bought it on another platform surely?

So you can just log in with any account that is free to create and play as you please.

Surely?

GTA 4 and GTA 4 BOGT, were better online. If you could get the stupid Windows Live to work. Wish I could play it again, GTA 5 online is macro transaction fest. bleh :...0(

I tried a bit of GTAV again recently and the game was mostly abandoned and getting someone who could understand English or what to do in the missions was impossible. It seemed mostly infiltrated by illiterate Pakistani or Russian 5 year olds.

Amazing that someone can spend enough time in that game to get banned.

Geezuz, I would 100% discipline my son if this was the case. Just because he is on a PC doesnt mean he needs to be less responsible. I would stop all access, make him really learn his lesson. How he should behave in RL is how he should behave online and if there is any difference I would put a stop to it asap.

Uhm no. The whole point of the game is to do stuff that you can't do in real life.

Take away steam. In fact password lock the computer. I see this too often in rust. Tweenies running around thinking their balls have dropped.

GTA: Online did get its heyday though, which is more than can be said about the godawful Red Dead Online. For quite a few months after it launched on PS3 it was absolutely epic - easily one of the best online games I've ever played. The community from SA Gamer was huge. Almost every lobby you joined had a bunch of Saffers. And it was before the money glitches were patched and before payouts were nerfed. Just amazing. Right up there with Red Read 1's multiplayer, which was also insane with the SA Gamer crowd.

True. It's a ***fest now. May as well be a mobile game.

Probably is but that game is down now yah know :D

Haha, ye he was fortnite player. Luckily he got over that.
Anyway.

The reason he got banned. Exploiting a known glitch in the game.
Something about some flying bike that if you drive it into the side of a building you can flip it upside down. When you do this the bike can travel at stupid fast speeds.
Nothing to get excited about. But the rules are the rules.

You get banned for killing someone in a game? If they don't want players killing each other why not just program it so you can't kill another player then?
