About 6 years ago there was a few farm killings in the area I was living in. I was speaking to a idiot that worked at the same place as me about what he thought would happen if the killings continued as he was the son of a farmer. His answer was that the farmers where not going to put up with it anymore and that they where going to band together and fight back. I asked him also what they would do if they had massive land invasions with hundreds of people attacking farms, he said it would never happen and if it did, they (the farmers) where more organized, had better tactics and where better with weapons.

Well, okey, there have been no land invasions, but 6 years later, the farmers are no closer to organizing a stripper for a bachelor party, never mind organizing any form of militant resistance to farm killings. A lot of hot air and grandstanding is all it ever is.

I'm reminded of one of Leon Schusters movies, where the Farmer is busy giving orders to the farm worker and is the master and all that, until he turns on the TV and learns that Mandela has been released. Then all of a sudden the farm worker is allowed to sit at the table with them to eat, can drive up front with the farmer in the bakkie, can even share his pipe. LOL

In a lot of districts farmers are very organised. In the area where my folks live, a farmer and his wife were tied up and assaulted with metal pipes and then robbed about 2 weeks ago. The chap managed to free himself and report it to the local security organisation who sent out a broadcast on the radios to seal off the area. It took the police hours to arrive but other farmers sealed off the roads quickly and the criminals were caught.

I think south african farmers might be more motivated to fight back against land invasions because they do not have the option to leave the country easily. Remember that most white zimbabweans have british passports and have family in britain so it was easier for them to just leave the country. The situation in SA is a bit different.

Yeah, maybe. But the fact remains, farmers are an easy target. Hence the farm killings. All I'm saying is that it's easy to say "I'f farms are invaded, we'll be able to fight back, win, because we are better". That's arrogant, and stupid. The farmers have no combat training, are armed with .22's at worst, shotguns at best, live large distances from each other and have no killer instinct.

Whereas a mass of 500 Malema supporters instructed by that tw^t to invade farms and kill farmers, may not be trained in warfare but will be descending en-mass on the farm, probably all armed with anything from pangas to AK's, will take advantage of the large distances between farms, and would love to kill these farmers in the most horrific and torturous way there sick imaginations can think of.

Yeah, the farmers might organize themselves in time, but Hiroshima will be nothing compared to the devastating outcome the farmers will get.
