Sony Ericsson P990i

Hey guys

Just put the Vista theme on my P990.

Very Very NICE !!

On minor gripe - on the drop down box ?? to enter new website in the browswer , my text is black against very dark background , I can't see so 'lekker'.

any advice ??

@MJB glad your SP arrived at last, do you like it

Guys, I've installed the Vista theme, very nice, BUT many of the menu items don't appear ! Say I open my sms inbox - the only sms I see is the one over which the "cursor" is placed, and so this contines into the control panel menus...the icons appear, but not the associated "text" unless I scroll down to select it !

SP is great... Do not even know that it is there :)

After installing Vista Theme, just restart your phone and all seems to work fine. I am sure you have done it already by now though ;)

I wanted to suggest to the queen to install the Vista theme (till she gets the transparent one), but wasn't sure if she would think I'm trying to start a Mac vs PC debate, instead of just wanting P990i owners to enjoy that fantastic theme...

*Did you restart your phone after installing the theme, aqualung? Only place that I can see it displaying 'garbled' text, is sometimes in the 'today' screen, but only in FO mode. Otherwise nothing to report.

Yup I did thanks kingrob, looks good but that white font on black background is still doing funny things to my eyes...so I'm back to my blue toned wallpaper courtesy of mobile9 for now

Note that one of the attractive elements of this theme is the fact that those damn application bars blend in to the wallpaper, the appearance I'm trying for with my transparent theme...

@kingrob, I would never think you'd start a Vista vs Mac debate !

Firstly you're not that argumentative ( I think ?)

( and secondly Mac is clearly superior anyway !

Dare I do it....?

Herewith the king wishes to inform all his humble servants that the queen is suffering from a virus called 'happy tongue'.

The virus causes the queen to stick out her tongue (very unfortunate, but involuntarily) at the king, whenever she talks to him or see him approach. We think the queen is trying to express some affection towards the king, but, because of the virus, she is doing it in the most unusual way.

Dr Pursonil Compiteer, the king's doctor, believes that the virus might be spreaded by wild dogs in the forrest. An infected subject might show some signs of animal behaviour after being infected by the virus. At this stage it's not clear how the queen got the virus, but some knights reported that the queen was seen wandering in the woods & taking a bite out of a white apple - it's most likely that the apple was infected with the virus.

The doctor suggested to the king that it's best to return the queen's show of affection, by sticking out his tongue at her. :p

Sorry for only replying now. Crazy last week at work. I'm glad you're sorted out. The jogdial sequence is a bit confusing (especially since one does not see anything happening at first).

Let us know when your commissioned theme is finished and if you are happy. I would be interested to see it. The more simpler it is, the more I like it. I don't like 'busy' themes.

Just joking. :p Merry Christmas to everyone! I just gave my wife an iPod for Christmas and now I AM THE KING of the house! ;) (at least for a while)
