for those of you who like new themes.... been checking out lots but ive got to say ive found THE BEST ONE EVER...

The Vista theme is a keeper! Looks fantastic on the P990i and it would seem my menus are faster? Obviously my imagination... ;)

I quickly ran Google translate for the installation instructions :

Just copy the *.utz file to your memory stick, open file manager and tap on the file. It will then ask you to install it...

With the Vista 1.4 theme, I would recommend a restart of the phone after installing it - my menus looked all 'garbled'.

yeah also had a weird garble until restart.

hey ive found one thing i dont like about swiss manager... i cant just let it run in background anymore... trying to cleanup idle apps. it shuts down my im+ :(

It also closes the camera app if you open the lens cover with flip closed. :(

*The Vista theme is absolutely gorgeous!! I love it. :)
 
You can mark an app with SM to be excluded from tidying. Under the "Task" tab scroll down to the app and click on the green tick-mark icon (second from last). The app should be marked with a "#" then. And it remembers the settings too.

Absolutely! I can't stop unlocking the keypad & opening all the menus - like a kid with a brand new toy!

Cudos to the French theme guy - he makes me love my P990i even more. :)

*Wondering if the black background won't make text more readible in direct sunlight? Will have to go & 'test' it...

@kvi - isn't there a "toggle exclude" option on Swiss Manager ? ( Forces SM to keep the toggled apps open all the time ) ?


Agree the themes on that Franch site are the best on the internet at the moment ! ( Have "commissioned" a theme from the site owner ie asked him very nicely to make one for me ;) )
 
It's the essence of simplicity ( in concept , maybe not in execution ! ;) )

I'd like all the application bars in both FO and FC modes to be transparent, so I can see more of my wallpapers !

( The extension of that would be scalable transparency of all the windows one opens in UIQ 3 , but that's probably impossible ) :)
 
Ok, so I've downloaded the Vista Transformation Pack for WindowsXP & with this new Vista theme for the P990i, my phone has become an extention of my desktop. Very cool. :)

*Please, no flaming from the iFruit community - when Morpheus found me and asked me to make a choice, I took the red pill. ;)
