With tabbed browsing in IE7, I always keep an eye on MyADSL... :)

I think most people are happy with their P990i's now, largely due to a stable firmware version. Got my phone with the latest firmware version installed, so haven't had any of the 'restarting phone to optimize performance' crap or constant 'hangs' or 'crashes'. I still feel sorry for the people who got the first P990i's - must have been an incredibly frustrating experience. :(

Like some reviewers of this phone has stated, the multimedia section of the P990i is very strong - I can't agree more (and that's also what's most important to me :)). Been using the RDS radio a lot, the media player for MP3s & the camera is absolutely fantastic. Still practicing with it, sometimes I do get the odd 'blurred' pic. Even the Opera web browser is fun to use, the landscape option gives you a much bigger display area.

As for the Office bit of this phone, I prefer to use Office XP on my pc, but will keep docs/spreadsheets on my phone to email them if I'm on the go.

So, all in all, the P990i is a superb phone and one that will be with me for a very long time. :)

Please explain IE7. I'm a little challenged when it comes to IT language. Confirm Internet Explorer 7?

I'm watching the rugby IRB 7's & surfing on the web.

From what I've been reading on that forum & new firmware, not sure I want to go through the whole process of updating my phone... ag, might do it later.

*Have already finished with Xmas shopping, vouchers for Musica & Woollies for all family & friends this year!
 
I'll wait at least a week after the fw is officially out and see what the verdict is
( although I like the idea of a faster UI :) )

Yes, faster UI would be cool, especially when opening 'Messaging'.

So, have you battled and triumphed with the flu? :)

Damn, I'm even becoming a fan of Classic FM now - sounds fantastic on the P990i's headset...

@kingrob, I've tried everything on that phone
( except videocall and the golf game :) )

PS I think we should start a thread - "what do you use your phone for " - see who uses the phone to it's fullest capacity...

Same here, it was cool to 'discover' everything the phone had to offer.

I've taken quite a lot of pictures with the camera, but still getting the odd 'blurred' one... you must press very hard to close the shutter...

*If I'm in SurvivorSA next year & win the immunity necklace, I'll ask them if I can listen to a few MP3s on my P990i and take a few pics of the island. :)
