Hi Guys,

Got my Crystal Case and Screen Protector today...
Love the Screen Protector, not really a fan of the Case...
If anyone in Jo'burg is interested please PM me and we can make a plan?

It saves you having to wait 2 weeks, its brand new! NEVER BEEN USED :)

Oh, and BTW I tried to do a F/W upgrade today with SEUS and it hasn't been released yet... still the most up to date version. :(

ive just looked back at how long ive been on mtn.... geez its like over 10 years, do i get a gold watch or something :)

:) Well i know when we turned 10 we issued a whole bunch of clients free minutes and sms's in celebration, at that stage im of the knowledge that they implemented the whole Vip section, was a project that they had been working on for quite some time, man id like to be a part of that pie in the sky but i dont think i spend enough :(

In answer to your question they generally call people out of the blue to give them things in lieue of retention/ reward (sorry my spellings not all there sometimes)- this is unfortunately something we cant go into cosidering the data nature of this forumn

Was a bit sceptical about the case, but now I'm used to it & glad I ordered it.

very interested in the p990i can you guys please give me info on the phone?
i heard it had software problems etc how is it doing currently?

Was quite baffled Mtn has it for 900zar on a procall 120 i think? Why so cheap so quick?

Hey PePs:cool: Sorry to bug yall but just want to know when you order the MF screen protector, which shipping method did u use and how long did it take for your order to be approved coz on my order form it says that "Order is pending for approval" what does this mean? Thanks in advance:D

I used normal air mail & it arrived in a week.

Order pending approval - I think they first want to check if your credit card is OK.

If you look closely at the gray area next to the battery symbol... Do you guys notice any lines moving.

I just formatted the main disc, and I have only noticed it now... Maybe it was there before though?

No, just had a look at mine and there's no lines moving. Good old restart? Sounds like it your screen needs to 'sync' again? :confused:

Is just switching off and on a 'sync' again? Is there a way to refresh on the phone that you know about?

I just wanted to let you guys know how I've ben enjoying your posts over the past weeks regarding the P990. Generally it seems that we are all happy users now and perhaps Aqualing (the queen!) is right. Maybe we should start discussing what applications we are using the functions for. By the way, I cannot get my speakerphone facility to work. Can anyone out there help?
 
P990i = P990 ???

Is the P990i = P990? Just wondering if there are 2 versions of this phone flying around since I wanna get as one of my company phones is up for renewal :D
I'm with iTalk (MTN) btw so...... :confused:
 
lol... ive just picked up my 990... unfortunetly i couldnt get the clean version, had to take the vodafone version... anyways

the sales people at voda told me if i use an mtn sim card in the phone i lose my warranty WTF
so i said how they gonna know... oh yes we know she says, as you make calls on the network your imei blah blah

well what i want to know is... how branded is my phone? how do i know if it is vodafone software? when it starts up it has the voda startup screen but when its running it looks clean sony eric. how do i tell?
 
Y don't u just use that number portability thingy that just went into effect?
Then you'll be with Voda??? :sick:

The vodafone one's... Have different menu's compared to the generic. Also, certain features are disabled.
