Nah, but according to your test that's pretty decent. When I go do work out of the office it's nice to have some tunes and not have to lug around another device. Thanks for the test :)
 
Apparently you get access to download legally upto 60 free movies a year from playnowarena/movies that are only compatible with W995, Aino and Satio. Don't know any one who has actually done it though. Hence my question. The movies on offer are not all that great, but they change them on a monthly basis.

Piesang,

as a matter of interest, who long does the last 15% of the battery last? IMO, the last 15% off a battery is not to good.

Anyone here got the Satio on vodacom? I hate the vodafone software. I debranded my w910 with DaVinci. It worked great. I see it can be done on the Satio too, it costs about R120.

I do not know if this will void warranties. what else can one do? Change contract to mtn and keep vodacom number?

Anyone with a Satio in the East rand / Gauteng area? I would really like to see the features.

I utterly hate the Vodafone software! When I got my C902 I asked at Vodacom if they could remove the software and was met with a blunt, rude refusal, stating that it would cause trouble with Vodafone. It added to my growing dissatisfaction with Vodacom/Sony Ericsson

With my old k750i it was quite easy to flash with a generic SE firmware. I also hate some of the stuff VC do to mobiles.
 
I sent a little note to Vodacom :

Hi,

I have a Vodafone branded Sony Ericsson Satio which I bough from a store in Durban last year.

This range of phones from Sony Ericsson has had various software issues since it launch.

A software update was released last year that sorted out most problems, software version R1CA037.

It is widely reported on various sites that Sony Ericsson have last week released another software update for the Satio, version R2AK006.

Most over seas users have already downloaded & installed the new software. Even MTN users locally have been able to install it.

I enquire when loyal Vodacom / Vodafone users locally will have access to the new software, given that its now a week since release & other networks have released it already.

now I wait for their reply.

Black Satio on Vodacom

I'm looking for a black satio on vodacom upgrade. Anyone know of who has stock in Cape Town?

Media server allows you to connect your Satio to wifi enabled components of your home entertainment system, so you can view pics & play music off the phone on your home entertainment system wirelessly. unfortunately it only suppors pics & music, not videos.

I just stick my memory card into the player & view pics etc, that way I can even play vids :)

oh, you mean i.e. not ie :) cos anyone who uses a computer knows that ie means 'internet explorer' :

it says ' your phone already has the latest software'
