Hi Guys

can one save wep key for the above phone instead of entering it each time i am near my wifi connection.
my old n95 was capable of this so just checking.
 
Thread derail, but just a quick note: Switch your wifi encryption to WPA. WEP has been cracked since 2001, and it is quite easy for someone to use your bandwidth.
 
I went to upgrade my contract today. Wanted to get the blackberry 8900 but ended up getting the Satio. Nice phone. Just need to get used to only using touch screen. Had a choice between n97 and Satio but opted for Satio since wife has the n97. The camera is brilliant.

Nice one,hows the overall operational speed,must be faster than the N97,as it has double the RAM + much more superior processor

as fast as iphone in my opinion.
 
Hey Satio owners
Got a few questions for you:
1) How does wisepilot compare to garmin mobile xt, google maps, ovi maps etc?
2) Do you need to buy a wisepilot licence or is it free like recent ovi maps?
3) Does it charge via the PC USB cable?

I have the silver satio with the blinging chrome. I have always seen them advertising the black version but never actually seen the phone. How does it look compared to the silver? I love the look and feel of the silver.
 
i would have loved the black satio but i dont think its available in south africa.

has anyone managed to de- brand a satio?

has anyone managed to install OVI maps 3.3 ?
 
De-branding nope found a site that does it for R250 but haven't been bothered.
Haven't installed OVI maps I installed Garmin Mobile and it works
 
Is there any free offline maps that I could use with the satio. I dont have a data bundle and dont want to end up with a massive bill at the end of the month considering it is R2 per mb and the 3g works like a bullet sometimes. 0-1mb in splits seconds it seems at times.
