They don't that-s the one my stepfather got.

Then afterwards when you mentioned you applied for the Smartband deal, I emailed them to ask why have two deals - and now the other is discontinued .... my bad :/
 
What keyboard do you guys recommend? The default Z2 keyboard and auto correct sucks balls.

Bought it from the Orange online store, imported from London.

I see the deal with the smartband is now discontinued on their site.

They only seem to have the phone itself without smartband now, for about R700 cheaper
 
Uninstalled lifelog. Eating battery life to the ground. Its not all that great. Was fun the first couple of days but not worth the battery life to be honest.

I havent had a chance to play around with it. Is it only when you active use it a lot that it runs the battery down? I'm on my first charge still and looks like it will last a full 3 days by tonight. Right now, 14% battery left after 60 hours.

I stopped the logging function on it but it kept on eating battery. My battery life is pretty crap atm. Stamina mode on I sit at about 50% to 40% when I get home. My screen is using 50% of my battery and then next will be Bluetooth at 25%. You have to have bluetooth on to use the smartband with it. But without lifelog running the smartband just becomes a glorified vibrating notification strap that lives of phone juices.

I only managed a semi-decent job because once I peeled the factory fitted sheets off the phone was like a dust magnet. Dust started settling on the phone and then I would wipe it off and then more dust would settle. A trick I use to make sure I get no dust under screen protectors is to do it in the bathroom after I have had a hot shower and let the steam settle,make sure that the door closed at all times in the now dust free bathroom so no more dust can enter the bathroom during the process.This simple way has never failed me yet,perfectly fit screen protector every time!
 
For those having battery issue's with Lifelog, what is your firmware version and what version of Google Services do you have installed?

Thanks! I only thought about the bathroom being less dusty like 2 days ago when it was too late :(
 
I'm looking for a gel cover, anything small rubberish that covers the back at least to minimize scratches. Any suggestions and where to find one? I suppose a flap cover can work too
 
Got one from Amazon, though it is a cheapie.

You could check the actual Sony stores, I know the one in Menlyn had covers for the Z1 last I was there.
 
I washed mine today with water. Quick rinse with no soap and towling it dry makes wonders for grip and finger print when it's new.
 
Anyone knows who stocks the charger dock for this phone in the sandton or fourways area? Cellucity in Benmore don't have stock
