Weird - someone just said the same thing to me ...

Though - of the 3 calls received, it was only one
 
Maybe it's the 'Microphone noise suppression' acting up? It's under Settings > Call setting.

It thinks you're part of the background noise it's trying to suppress :p
 
Did anyone get a work around to make the volume more on the Z2?

I see there are some mods to boost the volume but you need to root an I'm ready to root yet
 
Regarding volume, I am using my own sounds for various notifications now. I notice they are a lot more audible than the standard Sony notification sounds. So that might have been my problem for some of the series I was watching. Will keep an eye on that and see how it goes from now on.
 
Anyone know hosts hide icons that aren't in use?

Thought this was a standard feature in Android :/

Also weird is the photos - there's no gallery but rather an Album like all Sonys. But when you attach from Whatsapp, it opens a gallery and not Album?

That's Google's photo album, it's part of Google plus me thinks
 
Seems Nova can't hide apps either.

What is so special about it anyhow?

Where do my Whatsapp go on this ?

Seems the Album is only for photos taken? I can't see a Whatsapp folder with images, thought it seems to be the device if I go to file?

EDIT : Oh it doesn't automatically have my old Whatsapp photos
 
Well my smartband just died a horrible death :/. I charged it Monday, unplugged and went on with my life. I go to charge it this afternoon and ... the cover around the microusb port on the device stayed on the cable :/. Now I can't charge the device as it does not accept connections. I wonder if Sony will charge me to get this repaired...
 
On their FB page they have asked me to phone SA Support to organize an exchange unit. I really am missing the notification alert on my wrist...
 
That was the most infuriating phone call I have ever had. I explain to the person that I can't charge the device due to their being a problem with the micro-usb port, the response? Try a different cable. When I explained that it is not the cable this gem of a response came back "Have you tried a different SD card?" what the hell?!?! The smart band doesn't take a SD card! So I am going to have to go out of my way to visit a actual Sony store to get this sorted out... :/
