Doesn't it seem like a worthy trade off for protecting the phone? I mean I'd rather it be bulky than have to replace a R4k screen

That's why i have insurance... the phone size for me is as big as I can tolerate. But yes, a cover that offers protection does make sense.

I like it. Access to magnetic port I assume. This is going to be my hiking camera, so I'm going for all out protection

Yip, rooted a few days ago, quick and easy. Used towel root.

Tr is not working on .402. Will read some xda. I didn't go anything special, just ran tr. Got a success message, but no root

Edit: used the easy root method. I LOVE xposed!

Haven't used it. Bootloader unlock and root aren't entirely the same thing as far as I know. All apps work so far.

I didn't unlock my bootloader because then you lose your DRM keys incase you ever want to return back to factory default. I obtained root and then made a backup of my TA files using "Backup-TA".

Imo you don't need a custom Rom if you're using xposed

I also notice that on my Sony tab and friends Sony Z2, when things like hot or cold are typed... Symbols appear in the predictive area? How do I set mine?

Get Swype off the market. Don't use the bundled keyboard

People have been complaining that they can't hear me during calls. Seems that there may be a problem with my mic. Anyone else have this issue.
