I would also like to know that. Ebay was an option when the non post office still worked. Also gatvol for the flap routine. Strongly considering moving back to my sammy s4.

Anyone know where to get the magnetic charging dock/cable locally for a reasonable price? Anyone have spare ? Would love to stop the flap open charging it is making me crazy. Please help

eventually gave up waiting for Sony/MTN to get their head out of their ass and just installed the firmware manually using flashtool. so far so good

Don't waste your time. They buy like we would from the east. They use the non post office. Checked this morning. To have it sent with DHL will cost an additional R276.

I would have gone with a dhl option or similar anyway. Dont trust the local post office to deliver my goods.

Some of the cheaper cables only charge and cannot sync

Hi guys

I pulled my Z2 out my pocket yesterday and noticed a crack across the entire rear of the device running from left to right, anybody else had this? I've never dropped my phone and it's always been in a protective Spigen case since day 1??? I've ready a LOT of guys overseas complaining about cracked rear glass panels from heat?

Anybody know where I can get this replaced?

spontaneous cracking a common problem. 2 colleagues had it replaced under warranty. 1 through Sony the other through operator.

I finally have lollipop on my Z2. I am on MTN and the update came through the last couple of days.

Just got a notification for 5.1. But i'm running a non south african firmware

I got my Z2 and dropped it from knee height - shattered! Got a replacement and 2 weeks after that, I got a spontaneous crack at the back when in my pocket. Seems to be a very fragile phone.

I just wish on the Sonys they'd improve this camera. Every model and rumor they carry over the camera and while it looks impressive on paper, it has started to lag.

No comparison to an S6, for example

The back plate cracks spontaneously and is covered by the warranty. Its a known issue.

Apparently the update has some speed improvements on the camera.

That's just unlucky man. There have been plenty of drop tests done and the phone held up well. I've dropped mine several times and it's been ok. Hell, it regularly slides off any slippery non-level surface and lands on my tiled floor at times.

So I've noticed two things since upgrading to 5.1.1:

* If I scroll down really fast, it automatically starts to scroll up
* With Airplane mode on, wifi off and mobile data off, I still seem to get network activity. For example Whatsapp messages still come through
