Sony Xperia Z2

My wife just got the Z3 on vodacom, and I guess hers will be updated first. Hasn't happened yet!

They are basically the same. The Z3 does have a better polish regarding the finishing of the flaps etc. Plus she got the noise cancelling headphones for free which is pretty awesome.

I admit, although I like the stereo speakers, I could use a bit more volume at times.

I think the Z2 is too heavy and bulky. The flaps irritate me, haven given issues in the past and I'm not quite convinced it will hold up to being submerged in water.

The whole feel is not intuitive compared to Samsung's take on Android. I guess I don't like the way Sony does things. If I could swap it for an S5 I would do so!

And yeah, the volume is too soft.

Different folks different strokes. I love my Z2. Does what is says on the box brilliantly. I know quite a few people has had problems with the waterproofness, but I do not take my phone into the pool/shower with me. Now just patiently awaiting that damn Lollipop update.

Well, they are a bit finnicky, but they are flaps. Heven't had a problem with mine.

Just playing around with a z2 now.

Stamina mode is on with extended usage on.

Phone is on 77% now , power management says i have 4 days left.

I really doubt I will get anything near 4 days.

I'm getting 2 days with fairly heavy use (5+ hours screen on time over the two days) on my Z3c. With Stamina only, I could get 3... 4 days sounds possible

Speaking of flaps - I went to Uhlanga last week and it was very humid. The next day my SD Card flap popped out and refused to stay in.

Was hoping the issue would change when I was back in dry weather, but the flap still refuses to close.

Otherwise - my only issue is the phone being fragile. It's quick, snappy and looks great! Took it over the S5 and happy with my choice

You'll have to clean the flap and adjoining areas very thoroughly to get it to stay closed...

Yep, via PC Companion.

The Lollipop rocks, only time will tell about the battery life though. At least this isn't samsung so there should be fewer problems.
