Is it just me, or has the frame rate of the camera's viewfinder taken a knock after 4.4.4?

....

Other new features include new edit options within Quick settings, Smart screen rotation, “Record Screen”, Ultra STAMINA Mode (limiting a number of phone functions) and Bluetooth unlock (phone unlocks when any of Sony’s Bluetooth accessory is in close proximity).

EDIT : Nevermind - got it ! And just to add, I think this is the best feature they have on the firmware upgrade! Ultra Stamina is pretty neat as well though
Agreed, I like it! Makes the smartband more worthwhile :). Just did the update this afternoon.

ooh, ok. I am tempted to wear the smart band again now. was collecting dust.
Has quite a range, the BT / smartband detection. I had to leave my band in my room and then walk about ten metres away into the garden and stand behind a microbus to lose connection to the band :p

I find it's very limited. I lose connection a room away.

Well, that's a good thing if you want the phone to lock when you are away from it. It's a negative of course if you want notifications when away from phone.

They say sometime next month. They'll start with the Z3 first though.

Considering the fact that the Xperia range is relatively light on bloatware, I'm surprised it's taken Sony so long to push the Lollipop update.

Cyanogen are days away from releasing a stable Lollipop build, and that's a team of just a handful of people. And Cyanogenmod builds quite a bit on top of AOSP.

I must say, a custom rom is looking very tempting right about now.

Have any of your phones self-cracked? If so and did send it for repairs, were you charged? How long have you had your phone?

Edit: Searched through thread. Has anyone else had their phone crack other than the people who already said so. Are your phones still going strong?

I'm interested in buying this phone but the self-cracking sounds like a deal-breaker, especially if it's not covered under warranty.

I think the delay is due to the fact that they are releasing it to the entire Xperia range, which is a hell of a lot more phones than what the other brands are doing.
