Serial breaker of phones
The reports of overheating has put me right off this phone and it was no 1 on my list.
I haven't seen any. Sony's new cooling implementation is working well. It's the best of all the SD810s so far.

Premium or normal?
Normal, I really don't see the need for Premium just for a screen resolution my bad eye site wont even notice, also I don't think the premium has even been released yet
My reason is battery life.
I'd be keen to see real world on both

Congrats , what colour did you go for ? How are you finding it thus far ?
Thanks!
Wen't for gold.
The phone's battery life is excellent been using it for three days now on around 29% battery life left
Camera is awesome!!!
Print ready with any type of printer
Connectivity to Sony PS4 is brilliant
And there is a Sony app that transfers all your sms, gallery and such over to your new phone
The only thing is the covers.... None of them are yet to be found...
Can't find the article now (of course).
Do you game on your Sony Z5?
I think I saw some on Takealot , not 100% sure but maybe check them out . It is always a battle to get covers early on for new devices in SA it seems (Other than Samsung and Apple devices)
Thanks. Will have a look![]()
Have a G4 for now. Only time I ever heard heating issue mentioned is when recording at 4K for 20mins straight.
Considering I hardly make videos longer than 2mins, it's a non issue.
Ok.
Anyone here tried RR3 on the Z5?
And before anyone asks, yes my main purpose for my phone is gaming. I make 5 calls a month (if at all).
I don't see how that's even a question? Snapdragon 810's Adreno 430 is the latest and greatest currently available (overheating aside) so it's as good as you can get at the moment...
And RR3 isn't the most demanding game to begin with and mostly already ran ok on much older hardware...(assuming you're talking about Real Racing 3)
Now if you were asking this about the M5 or if we'd had a generation or two of Qualcomm tech since it would be a valid question, but on the top of the line stuff it's just a silly question as you only have two other choices: Wait or go with Samsung's chipset instead.
It is not a silly question, as I read last week about the Z5 overheating when playing RR3. Wish I could find that damn article.
what is RR3 i will load it and check for you
