i am looking at the premium for the bigger screen and bigger battery but it depends on contact prices. if its exorbitant then i will stick with the standard

Such a pity i've had bad experience with my Z3c. Won't ever touch Sony again.
It's a pity because the phones are beautifully designed with an excellent OS and excellent Specs. Just sucks its made of glass which cracks for no reason and a touchscreen which stops working for no reason. :/

So I'm not sure if you have seen the October MTN Yellow trader were there are prices for these handsets.

1. Sony Xperia Z5 compact @ R449.00 on the My MTN choice 100
2. Sony Xperia Z5 @ R549.00 on the My MTN choice 100

No mention of the Premium thou.

I read that conclusion and still seems like a great phone to me.

What are your concerns?
Well at this price range the camera should have gotten OIS, especially for the 23MP it pushes out. The screen could also be an issue but I need to see this phone physically. it is indeed a good phone but it needs to be excellent at what I need it to do. Will have to have a look when it releases

I thought that was only the standard and compact were been released then, the Premium hasn't been released by Sony yet they only releasing it in November so will only reach here later?

What do you have currently?

I bought the Z tablet and Z2 when they came out and turned me into a Sony fan. Looks great, premium feel, quick with great features. I'm not so sure how much IOS makes on a 24mm lens ...

I see Mtn only is advertising the z5 spectre which is the normal 5.2 inch with only 450 dpi whereas the premium has I think 806 dpi

Only 450dpi. What world do we live in now...

ANything over 300dpi is perfectly fine for a phone screen if you ask me.

I love how you put the P8 in that list. That's a bit like saying I can have Golf GTI for under a mill so why am I paying over a mill for a Porsche 911.
