Now that the not so favorable openweb has released their new pricing... Afrihost cmon wheres your reduced pricing or are you going to delay it more so that the 60% profit margins can be passed onto your wallets hehe jokes,,,, but seriously wheres that new pricing....

I think they've already said that they are first going to see about increasing their capacity before looking at price cuts to the customers, which to be honest, is probably the best thing. Its not much use having a dirt cheap isp if their service is terrible.

You must be joking. As mentioned, Openweb is too terrible of an ISP to be of any relevance. And if there's one area that Afrihost does not need to improve, it's their pricing. The accounts are already pretty cheap and you can double any capped account for R99pm (and get a Simfy account thrown in worth R60pm).

The last thing AH should do is reduce any of their prices. Any revenue from higher margins must be invested in the quality of their network.

Data is cheap enough now.. well at least DSL. We need telkom to reduce line rental instead of IPC.

What Bryn said. I dont know how much cheaper Afrihost should go. In fact, its probably best that they increase their capacity and improve the quality of their network, rather than reduce pricing.

Im going to guess that is what most isp's are going to do. Well apart from Open Web who need to pull in more customers.
