I've recently replaced my motherboard (GT40-M I think). Reloaded Win XP Home. I put in the Driver CD and ran the auto load.
My sound is not working. As soon as windows load it starts with the default windows sound and then midway cuts out. Other than that not a peep. The Drivers CD loads some program called VIA. There is some realtech stuff on the CD I can load, but that does not solve the problem.
I've searched and found higher version of VIA but does not solve the problem.
I've replaced the speakers with normal Head phones, still nothing. Everything is plugged in and has power.
Any ideas?
