Internet isn't broadband. For all that is said take a look how many people upgrade their packages for Netflix and such. There are two groups of people, one that already has broadband and those that don't or need to factor in extra. For those that do Dstv is already irrelevant but for those with Dstv you have to factor in broadband so an internet inclusive cost is correct.

The Explora 2A packed up in just over 2 years. But all in all in over 15 years we've still only had 3 decoders so it is probably more like 5 years on average.

Lol bollocks. People had 4mb uncapped ADSL long before Netflix became a thing.

They should have played Walmart and gobbled up parts of existing businesses instead of doing these starter ups.

They don't necessarily break, but just stop working properly, probably hijacked from DSTV's side, and the fools at multichoice just recommend you buy a newer model.

Ours would stop recognising the authentication. Funny you could still play stuff but then it would give authentication errors for a few minutes when doing certain tasks. It looked like one of the tuners gave in and it tried to juggle things between the remaining ones.
