There is still a debate on what exactly it is so my view is not set in stone and I am still reading about current opinions. Though I favour it as some sort of intrinsic propensity.
So you believe in evolution then?

What splendid news !
Anyway you don't actually need religion to achieve this, amoeba-to-man evolution has been shown to be pseudo-science, at best, in and of itself and as such certainly does not belong in school text books.

Evolution is just another term for change. Change happens, get used to it, get over it. Do you believe in evolution? So you believe in evolution then?
Lol, are you a myther?there is more evidence supporting it than the hypothesis (actually 'guess' ) of Jesus Christ..
Just shows how warped your sense of logic has becomeApt username.
We're not talking about Christianity and God.there is more evidence supporting it than the hypothesis (actually 'guess' ) of Jesus Christ..

absolutely, 100% correct.Sure, my logic is warped because you don't understand evolution.
absolutely, 100% correct.
My interpretation is fitness= those having the properties best suited to survive in their particular environment.
Fish have properties making their survival in water more likely than mine.

Evolution science only goes back like 200 years atm, it's not suppose to be about the creation of man.
But many years ago, a fish decided to take a walk out of the water and after many years became a man.
There is a difference between being physiologically fit and "fitness" in evolutionary terms, correct. We are talking about evolutionary fitness. Your example appears to do with physiological fitness (survival of the physiologically fit and fast) of animals being hunted. Not quite the "fitness" when people talk about evolutionary fitness. Don't confuse the two.
We can start with the fact that the entire theory hangs on nothing. It has? Links please. I'm very interested to hear the conclusive evidence proving this. Genuinely interested, no jokes. I prefer learning whats really going on instead of living a life of ignorance.

i disagree, perhaps i am wrong but due to mutations and the genes passed down some organisms are better and faster. you can have a group of gizelle being chased by a lion, and with eliminating luck and other factors like age and gender, you have two animals with slight differences competing to outrun a predator.
there are too many factors to list, but of course some animals will have an evolutionary edge like having darker fur making them better camoflauged, having a larger wing span making flying easier, and so forth.
