Check the trailer. Liam may resemble Andy a bit, but the way he speaks is very different. It'll take some time to adjust, but I'm sure they'll make it work.

Ya it was over long ago, they went forward in time, series 3 will be into the future :D. You know they break out the gate and so it continues woooohoooooooooooo

Sad to here about his death :(, not sure he can be replaced

The new guy looks a bit like Andy, but it's a bit weird getting used to his voice.
 
He looks too girly, andy looked rugged if you know what i mean. As long as the story is decent with blood and sex i am sure we will get used to it.
 
For those that haven't started watching any of this, watch "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena before "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" (aka Vengeance).

Nah it's so well done that you can watch either one first. I prefer watching season 1 first - because you encounter badasses (like Doctore for example), and then you get to see exactly what he went through as a gladiator in the second season in order to become the person he is.
 
Started watching this on the weekend.

Started with Season 1, hectic, yet awesome.
 
Last episode I watched they cut some dude's willy off and nailed him to the wall or something - that is hectic!!

And the one chick that bashes the others head in, the show is seriously harsh.

Started watching Blood and Sand for the first time yesterday and you're right.The show has this raw animalistic power combined with soap opera drama.
Chicks should lap it up.

Naaaa porn is much more graphic but what porn lacks is that passion and emotion. The sex scene are 100x times better than porn.

Perhaps a sparticus porn series should cum out :p
 
Is it weird that I'm starting to like Gaius Claudius Glaber? This show seems to have a way of doing that - at first I didn't like Crixus, then he grew on me, and now it's the same with Glaber.
