SPCA: Highway giraffe has died

Mother (who has had to capture and move animals before in her job function) says that SABS standard says they have to be in a trailer with a front section higher than the giraffe.

Besides the obvious things like careful route planning
 
sent the story to john oliver as a heads up, in the unlikely event that someone on his team reads it i hope he tears these morons apart in his next show

I actually emailed Putin in the SaveOurSexGeckos campign. I asked him to try save the geckos, and if he cant because its beyond his ability, I asked him to please stop destabilizing Ukraine as a 2nd prize.

You check how flipping long it is and if it going to moer its head on the overpass ??

Firstly, don't you sedate the giraffe to make it sleepy, then it would naturally sit down?

Sad part is, this could have been prevented by applying a little logic. Sedate the giraffe's.

They really cant lie down for more than like 10 minutes, they will get a stroke. The problem is not with them being awake, the problem is with what they are transported in. It should be more like this:
