SPECIAL: Get BitDefender for only R50!

Yes yes yes, but unless somebody can show me where to buy a single-user ESET licence for R50, this is still probably the best deal around.

Bitdefender has a decent interface, it states confidently 'You are protected. This system is safe.' (I wish I could believe that), and there's no noticeable slow-down. For now, it'll do. I reckon if any elite hacker decides they want to break your system, you'll need more than store-bought software anyway.
 
Common sense doesn't always work, a few years ago MSI's site was attacked. I got infected just by viewing the page. Kaspersky or Norton comined with Malwarebytes is my preferred combo.

Yeah, I changed BitDefender's intrusion detection settings up to 'medium' from the default 'low', because I figure a few more false-positives will be safer than ignoring some genuine exploit attempts. In addition to protecting the program's own files from modification, that now also protects against dll injections. In all honesty I don't know what that is, but it doesn't sound healthy :D

Well, if you trust BitDefender, when the program was installing it said that it automatically detects each system's configuration and adjusts itself to ensure minimal resource impact.

So far it seems fine, with everything set to the default settings I'm not noticing anything to be slower.

Common sense in that case would be to disable Flash.

That means everything that uses Flash no longer works. What you're suggesting is the same as saying you can avoid car accidents by using common sense and never getting into a car.

Anyway, R50 for Bitdefender is alright, but you can get six months for FREE by following this linkhttp://www.bitdefender.com/media/html/60-second/
