Speed degradation on NeoConnect Prime & NeoFlex Data

.csv is better; that way the report is a log to help fix the issues.

The queries have been categorised into affected areas and as such will be tackled. I will have more info after a meeting tomorrow with the vendor...

K, so do you have an e-mail address we can send the CSV to then?

Wish I had read the speed & degredation issues before forking out cash to buy a Yagi from poynting...

If anyone is interested in buying it from me ill make you a good price. Its perfect for the Neotel lite and Prime. Will also work on Neoflex but is suited for the other two.

Hey gdiza,

Unfortunately Im in JHB in the Sandton area. The antenna is quite large so im not sure if posting/couriering it would work out being any cheaper for you.

ushir,

I recommend you keep the Yagi - it may come in handy - I looked @ your coverage and you are in "Good" coverage - so when the base station maybe loaded you might get better speeds than others.

I recommend you point your antenna towards Morningside Manor - you might experience improved reception.

Antenna was scheduled again to be installed today and still no delivery, that's 2 appointments already missed by the contractors.

Ok, well. Local sites are not giving me any problems, but international is another story:

Local down 1011Kb/s (126KB/s)
Local up 88 Kb/s (11KB/s)

Int down 102Kb/s (13KB/s.... but only works for 2 seconds at it time. Then it dies and comes back to life after 4 more)
Int up 82Kb/s (10KB/s)

Location: Bryanston Ext.8, right next to Bryanpark. Any sugestions on where to point my antenna :D?

Even worse
Today I cannot even open a site.
Stop and on, stop and on.
Speed test cannot perform.

When these people fix the problem and tell us what's going on?
Stay or leave?
Have an answer?

Registered just for this :)

When I first got neotel last year I would play world of warcraft with a latency between 600ms and 1000ms, but now it's totally unplayable, normally way over 3000ms.

Hey guys - just curious, did anyone in the sandton area experience terrible connectivity last night& speed last night??

On another issue, hows ure guys performance when playing online games, specifically, games which require a low ping. (Im more interested in the neoflex people).

Thanks
Ushir

I don't technocally "live" in Sandton, but i do point my antenna there. Last night was pretty lousy international wise. Local im doing fine... Think maybe there is a problem with the cables Neotel uses for international traffic?

I'm busy on the phone about an account query but I thought you guys might like to know when I phoned there is a recording saying they are currerntly experiencing technical problems in Rivonia and surrounding areas.
Ya, the whole of Gauteng surrounds Rivonia.
