hi everyone....
got this problem and i dont know someone else also getting this same problem. for some reason http://www.speedtest.net/ not loading. page is stuck at "waiting for c.speedtest.net.." in firefox and also in IE.
ofcouse isp is telkom :mad: did all the checking and clear the cashe or what ever but page refuses to load....:confused:

I'd say try this.

It loaded up perfectly fine on my PC, quick as well.

Are other sites also giving you a problem, or just Speedtest?

If it's other sites as well, maybe check your router's stats - could be that Telkom misses you and would very much like for you to call their support desk...
 
phone telkom their internet department after 5 min one lady answered the call and after asking all the details put me onhold and after 15min line droped......
 
after call telkom page is opening but giving "load configration failed" looks like something hidden going on by telkom......

Were you calling from the same line that ADSL is on? Maybe they tried something on your line and just didn't think about the fact that you were actually still on the phone?

Have you reset the router and run another test since being cut off?

Do you maybe have another ADSL account that you can test with?

Chances are there is something on Telkom's side that is faulty (exchange etc.) but to rule our ISP issues, not a bad idea to try with a different ISP.
 
Funny enough same thing happening to me :p EXACT same thing. Tested on a telkom account. I've also had issues loading images from imgur with my telkom account. But openweb,afrihost load them fine

I was thinking while driving home earlier, when I had a Telkom account I used to have random issues with flash content. YouTube videos would randomly crash, PutLocker videos etc. kept saying that the "connection reset"... Don't remember if Speedtest worked, but flash in general was an issue.

Tried with a buddy's Axxess account, all worked fine.

Had completely forgotten about the "issues" till just now.
