Scientists have discovered more than 1 000 species in Southeast Asia's Greater Mekong region in the past decade, including a spider as big as a dinner plate, the World Wildlife Fund said on Monday.

Personally, me record at home is the size of a side plate. Some ugly-ass spider that sat in the corner of my room on the ceiling

Although I must admit Huntsman.jpg maybe looks like a rain spider.
Now we just need to find the dinner plate I guess.

Wow nice pics, you can see that one has quiet a bit of meat, pity it died though.

Certainly is interesting to see scientists continually discovering new species and habitats. In a way it's the same as discovering aliens, same thing really not so ?
