Springbok squad announcement tonight

Let's face it, the squad isin't bad, but there are purely k@k choices. But who are gonna be the fullback? Francois?
 
If he plays fullback, he'll impress ........ he may not be a flyhalf but he has loads of talent.
 
If Frans Steyn is put a FB, all my fears wrt this squad will be put to rest. With there being no real recognised FB plus all this talk by pdv of Rose, JP and hell even Morne Steyn at FB worries the crap out of me. I just wish the sharks can give FS a entire season as first choice FB.

For this squad F steyn needs to be FB, Morne/Pienaar FH, JP wing and Rose waterboy.

Remember, the squad he named isn't exactly the final match 22. Rose might not even get a game at all. Snor also said the players in the Emerging Boks side still have a chance to squeeze into the last 2 tests if they prove themselves in their game, so it's not all doom and gloom.

I think it's brilliant for SA rugby to be so confused by all this talent than be where the Poms and Aussies are, where if a player gets injured they don't have a suitable backup.
I agree with the other sentiments about the quota stuff, none of the players of colour in the squad are there on quota's....yes, even Rose. Rose is just a kark choice, thats all, don't think he is there purely because of colour (he could have picked Kirchner if colour was an issue).

I hear Earl Rose has a sex tape of P de Villiers. That would explain everything.
 
Why not release Nokwe to play for the Cheetahs on Saturday. I doubt he will be getting any game time, except if we win the first 2 tests and Snorre gives all the other players a chance.
I think Rose is playing for the Lions tonight. (please please somebody tackle him into ward 3)
 
well the one common denominator that seems present here is that as far as i can see every one thinks rose sucks as much as i do :D
 
that's actually bad news in that it means he is looking more and more likely to start Rose in the 1st Test :o

Yeah the talent that we have atm is awesome but I mean really some of those choices are stupid. I still feel that if you can not start for your own team and the guy keeping you out of the starting line up for the provincial side is not in the Bok 22 with you, you should not be there. :mad:
 
I hope Steyn plays at foolattheback and stays there.

He ain't got the brains for a flyhalf, and he's not a good center.
 
There are rumours that PdV intends on putting Morne Steyn at full back. I aint even joking...
