Nice.

I really think we can take this game....

Glad Spies is back and I am really looking forward to what Brits will do in 65-80 mins of rugby :D

how on earth did news24 get the team before the noon announcement :D Good looking team though ........ only blight is Mujati, otherwise a potent combination :D

what?

that boy is going to be a legend

i think he can become a naas botha, only difference is he keeps ball in hand alot more

steyn is my fav springbok player ever

Currently I'm NOT a huge Francois Steyn fan....

The man who kicked the conversion in the dying minutes of the AB game that put us in front, the man who single handedly got his paws on the ball and ran it up from the 22 to past the halfway line, out of danger, with 4 AB's hanging on him and not going to ground so that Ricky could kick it out and we could win.

sho!

Steyn should play in every test.
Most teams do not want to kick the ball out against SA because of our superiority in the line outs.
They kick it deep knowing we will kick it back.
If you have Steyn in your team, any ball taken in the other half at the 10 meter line is potential 3 points through drop kick.
The man has a hoof on him of note!
It forces the opponents to consider kicking out.

He must really just learn to "swing" the ball....he plays like De Wet Barry.... Crashball.

And I would have liked to see him at inside centre and JDV at outside centre.

And boy can he tackle. :D

:D :D I didn't say "Shoot the idiot" . I said "currently not a huge fan" . I'd prefer less crashball, better distribution....haircut would be nice too :D Maybe the time is there to start him at 10 and Butch at centre ?

Great game Percy, your reward.... the bench. I found that a bit harsh. Even though I like Spies and I think that the Spies Kankowski paternership is the best we have, I think big Joe had 2 great games and it is also harsh leaving him off.

Steyn as always will blow hot or cold but what will come with experience and game time is less extremes between the 2. Give the guy a consistent place in the team in a single position and watch a star blossom.

1) Conrad Jantjies was also brilliant in the first test, his reward was the bench......

2)Big Joe did not have a good 1st test. Second test was better, not great IMO.

3) Agree with your position on steyn.... I say make him inside centre.

Yeah, I actually prefer the crashballers and the guys that challenge the defence. Sucks in defenders and keep them guessing. The AB's do it very well with super quick ball recycling.
Getting tired of watching people kicking away the ball when they run up to the line.

Steyn!
Boytjie got game! Will be HUGE one day, i'm always worried someone will 'trap' on his hair though, geez cut it you're gonna get scalped!

I'd rather have him on outside centre though, he NEVER swings the ball ever! When he's inside thats where the ball stops ALWAYS, lol he's so confident that when he gets the ball he's like a spoiled child and cant leave it alone. :D
We have amazing wings so rather get him out more although it limits his drops etc.

On the subject of LUKE i think he has potential, he needs abit more game time ppl judge the fellow 2 much, poor guy.
EDIT: On the subject of PERCY he's a gem sumtimes and other times(when the sheat hits the fan) a waste of time, sorry guys dont flame me...
EDIT: O and Januarie, i know i know the shortie shined like a gold tooth on the cape flats on Sat but i like Bolla's style more.. again sorry for that

With the pool of quality loosies in this country LW is certainly not in the top 4, not even close.
More game time will expose him for that.
He was the only guy back peddling into tackles last week. Almost cost us the game as well running into Matfield and making him spill the kickoff.
Jake White was right about him.

personally i believe butch james needs to be dropped

when we are 5-10m out he tries to kick instead of spread the ball

in the first 2 tests against the all blacks i counted 5 times he did this and it drove me the point i wanted to climb through the tv and throttle him

DROP BUTCH JAMES

That is the reason he should be inside centre.....

Steyn gets the ball runs at the defence, makes a half a gap for De Villiers and we just broke the line....

Easy huh? Oooo one more thing stey needs to learn to off-load :)
