Springboks

Chiliboy has not done that badly, he never starts how can you judge him?

Januarie, bj, kirchner i can agree with but i think olivier has been decent. Sadly he has been playing in a crap team so has not really be able to shine. I really hope we do not get nailed at home badly, going to the game and that would suck if they stomp on us.

We need to sort out our Hooker position immediately. We have John Smit there but I see that as a compromise to beef up the front row at scrum time, yet lose out on mobility.

Right now neither John nor Chilliboy are the top hookers in SA. That goes to players like Craig Burdon, Tian Liebenberg and Bismarck Du Plessis.

Agree 100%, even Deon Fourie is looking better than Chilliboy at the mo. Sorry but Chilli is no longer there on merit alone. Actually we have an embarrassing number of world class hookers. What about Gary Botha??!!!

Thanks for posting this. It's shocking... much worse than I even picked up watching the game. Love how their players enter the ruck from our side and still the ref does nothing.

That is shocking. O'Brian has to see this video and then say the ref wasn't blowing the All Blacks way.

The ref's have always been a little liberal when it comes to NZ. Hell, I suspect players like McCaw could chew off a leg of someone in the ruck and the ref's would wave play on.

Cool, so they're get another 2 tries courtesy of Habana ........ his form for months = fail .... yet he's still stuck in the team

My personal opinion is that he only remains in the team to score that one elusive try and become the highest try scorer in history.

That is another reason why he is paying so crap. He knows about the record and thinks about it the whole time. Also why he insists on going for that intercept try.

I bet when he does score that try he will settle down again start doing better.

I would have dropped him a while ago.

Mmmmm - Brian. What does one say. I feel we are singling one guy out when he is not the only dead-weight dragging us down. I like Brian, despite his leaving for WP. I think we are also looking at psychological considerations here. His S14 season, while not fantastic, was not a bad one. But he has been slowly degrading over the last 12 months and in fact was in similar poor form in 2008 yet 2009 he was good. My feeling is that he needs to be rested and go on the end-of-year tour to get that one elusive record-breaking try to perhaps break the current cycle, as APoc has said.

We could definitely see a return to form if he manages that. And, we have the end of year to assess as well. Darren Scott especially was going on after the S14 final about our incredible depth and being spoilt for choice yet we have not enjoyed any of that. We should perhaps have started experimenting already and time is running out. We have a lot of potential in guys like Aplon and Shadow but we will never know the depth of that potential if these guys don't get a start, bar Aplon.
