Had a Spur breakfast a few weeks back - as others have said, it's hardly haute cuisine but it was inexpensive, good portion size and didn't do anything wrong. Solid food at a decent price and I would go back for their breakfast anytime.

I’m amazed at the vitriol aimed at the Spur. Maybe it’s because I’m from overseas and there is nothing of this type that is affordable, but I genuinely don’t think you realise what a great institution you have on your hands.

I LOVE avos. have it twice a day in avo season. Here in KZN we are very blessed.

Yep. I had their mediterranean pepper sauce burger, like 2 times before that and that was great.
In hindsight, I think they got the blue cheese burger idea from googling blue waffles.
