Spur Incident

I still have no idea how people can equate someone screaming profanities to someone grabbing someone's child, threatening to hit someone and pushing over furniture. :wtf:

Of course he takes majority of the blame.

In this country we acknowledge that words can insight violence.

Why is it so far fetched to say that her outburst made the situation escalate and triggered an aggressive individual.

She challenged him to hit her ffs.

But didn't you watch the footage?!? The woman was provoking him!!!

I don't understand why I am disgusting?

He won't be employable after this. I don't care about him having an income but he has a little child to support.

Raising a child is expensive.

he lost his job and then what you will gain?
his unfortunate will make you rich?

.... I don't get it.

SJWs are all disgusting.

I do not want him to lose his job because he has a CHILD. I think it will lead to him being unemployable in the future. I did not say that I want him to be unemployed.

I just highlighted that this will follow him wherever he goes or until the next South African does something stupid.

Everybody has forgotten about Matthew Theunissen, so this might not have an effect on this guy.

This guy does need help for his anger though.

WTH are you on?

skye.za is merely stating the pretty much foregone conclusion that this oke will lose his job because of this incident.

So if there was no camera and nobody else around how many myBB members would have hit her /pushed her / made physical contact of some sort?

I don't think anybody would.

So I guess we can just assume it was her child causing the trouble, of course.

Not necessarily, but it would change how things would appear to people making judgement.

Look part the hype and look at the content of their statement:
"We have reviewed our CCTV footage of the incident and can confirm that Ms Mabuya’s version of events is accurate; the footage shows that her child was grabbed by the male customer in an aggressive manner and his actions are unacceptable.

They state that he grabbed her child. They didn't state why he grabbed her child. If you think that is insignificant to the matter at hand, then this argument is over. It is completely significant because it would confirm that he was simply defending his kid. He stated quite clearly that her kid was hitting his on the head, and spur don't seem to deny that. So taking that into account consider this:

He sees his kid being hit by her kid. He then confronts the lady who tells him to f**k off. Meaning that she doesn't care that her child (or the child in her care) was hitting kid child. Under those circumstances, he reacted in the way that I think many people here might identify with.

So many people are upset over this? Surely there are more important things to worry about :(

You will have to excuse Konfab, that massive chip on his shoulder is weighing him down a bit.

I have a problem with people being treated unfairly. Spur has exhibited some selective language that does not appear to be showcase 100% of the truth of what happened.

Her outburst started after he grabbed her child?

She challenged him to hit her ffs.
Her outburst started after he grabbed her child?

Was this not after he threatened to hit her and actually lifted his hand?

Too many people giving input without properly watching the Video.

You think that the people who think he showed MASSIVE restraint not to hit her wouldn't have laid a hand on her if no one was watching?

Watch the video (the ewn one, not the conveniently censored news24 one)

She called him a bully and eventually told him to f**k off after he complained to her after seeing his child being hit by hers. If that is the case, it is a rotten attitude to have.
