Spur Incident

All I am saying is that this woman by no means is a innocent victim. Same as the woman I witnesses at the garage. The only victims in this scene are the kids. Standing up for this woman is just as bad as standing up for the man.

Neither am I protecting the man or the woman. Highlighting another case is completely irrelevant to this one. Yes, the only victims here are the kids. Yet, people are ignoring that the man made the initial provocation at hitting the woman. Where two parties are in the wrong, one party will be more wrong than the other. This man illustrated emotional abuse. As you said,

Erm. She did actually. Unless I heard wrong and she did not basically dare him to hit her and see what happens.

which happened in reaction to his PK response. Did he not dare to hit her, is that not baiting her into a response? As I have it, as per the video, she did ask him to leave. The kids have a legal right to dignity and worth. The man’s initial response puts him in the hot seat, legally. Never raise a hand to a woman where her children (and others) are witness, the part which many people are missing, the very same laws are protecting caretakers, parents and guardians, irrelevant whether it is a man or a woman, or otherwise where children are involved or not. It is what it is, abuse.

As I have said earlier,

I will say this, the incident as captured on video. It is not in the best interest of any child.

Look, people need to be civil about things, but once you step over the line indicating to get physical you are burdening your case. That response is the one which will be exploited at your own demise, giving leeway to retaliation. The video as it is does not give any reason to the man to PK her, because she did ask him to leave, and that is why I am not protecting the woman, but the children.

I also said that I would like to see context to the cause, Spur's surveillance, to see where and why this has escalated into what has begin to be the case. There is a lot what the public does not know. In this case, children are the primary concern, not the parents.

Just out of interest, how would Spur enforce their country-wide 'ban' imposed on the male individual in the video?

Put up a photo of the guy in every Spur. What a freakin joke. I would still like to know what was said before the video was taken. As for going to Spur? Uhm, Steers, in the South there is Calisto's(million times better than any cheap franchise craphouse to eat at) , and many others to choose from. And yes, now they make the white male the scapegoat. Freakin idiots.

Spur Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pierre van Tonder says he's trying to arrange a meeting with two customers who were involved in a heated altercation at its branch at The Glen Shopping Centre in Oakdene

Glad to see Pierre is reading this thread.

What do you expect from that White guy looks like Trailer Trash to me
But the Black lady with the Wig what a mouth have we not heard similar tirades
like hers from other ANC Black ladies in Parliament.

The white male did not need any help from anyone in becoming a scapegoat.

Tough titties on the kids, she behaved as if she's no stranger to screaming like a banshee and pulling the race card.

The man showed HUGE restraint in not calling her anything that could be contrued as racist.

He should have sent his wife to deal with her, although race would still have come into it, the "man threatening a weak little woman" aspect would not.

People in Parliament can be idiots. People of SA shouldn't sink that low.

I finally watched the whole video. That man might not be a racist, but he is a bully. The woman only got up and started to become hysterical once he threatened to PK her.

That's the actions of a coward. I bet he would have been more respectful had there been a man at the table. Anybody excusing his behaviour probably are the same type of person.

She could've stayed calm and just have called management or the police, but not everyone can stay calm once threatened. Her racism rant probably also stems from being upset and wanting to get at him. He, being a "man", he should've known better than to threaten a woman. Coward.

Pathetic behaviour from both parents. That woman didn't know when to shut the hell up and that man needs to learn to control his temper.

I will be skipping 702 tomorrow. Eusebius will give me a headache with his fancy terms.

If I was a betting man, I would go for the following terms:

White privilege
White monopoly capital
Patriarchy
Colonial privilege
Superiority complex etc.

Same **** different day.

R100 on White privilege being said during his show.

What? They screamed at one another in public?

Let any man here who has not screamed at a woman be the first to criticise :)

No only screaming, a grown man threatened to PK a woman half his size.

It is wrong cos he threatened to PK another human being.

I swear some people think having a vagina makes you special.

You can't only go on the video. I'd like to know what was said before that.
